Punk Queen on Vogue Paris


Punk, grunge, tartan and check prints, capes, ladylike suits, leather jackets, denim, (faux) furs, over-decorated boots and high heels. Black, grey, red, gold, yellow, white, hot pink.

In the August issue of Vogue Paris, model Anja Rubik poses in front of Inez and Vinoodh's lenses. Her layered outfits, styled by Emmanuelle Alt, show part of the Fall 2013-2014 trends and trending colours. The idea behind this editorial is not entirely original, 'cause the male/female opposition in only one look or the half and half dresses are not unheard-of for the Fashion industry.

But, still, there's a thing that's completely new, the will to channel together two British style icons: the Queen of England and the Punk movement. In my very own opinion, I believe that sometimes Anja Rubik just overdoes her poses and faces being repetitive, but she's actually a very good model and probably this time she was forced to strike such similar poses by the different heights of her shoes. BTW I'm in love with this editorial, especially with the first picture, the fourth one, in which she's wearing the hot pink Lanvin dress, and the sixth one, where she's donning the grey Céline cape. My recipes #1: Mini Quiches

Anche se avevo già postato quella della mia torta al cioccolato preferita, il Gateau Royal, questa che segue è ufficialmente la prima ricetta di Ogniricciouncapriccio.



Le mini quiche sono piuttosto semplici da realizzare - specialmente se, come me, avete intenzione di "barare" con l'impasto della crosta. Quest'ultima infatti andrebbe fatta impastando 300gr di farina, 300gr di ricotta fresca, 300gr di burro e un pizzico di sale, ma l'ultima volta che ho preparato queste quiche ero un pochino di fretta, quindi ho tirato fuori dal frigo un pacchetto di pasta brisée già pronta e ho deciso di utilizzare quella!
